Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch!, the second season of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear anime has revealed a new trailer confirming its premiere date in April 2023. A short TV commercial and a commemorative illustration for the announcement were also revealed.
The videos also preview the opening theme song for this season, “Kimi to no Mirai” by Azumi Waki. The official Twitter account confirmed that the main cast, staff, and production studio for the first season will continue without changes, and the official website updated the main characters page with new information.

■ Yuna – CV: Maki Kawase
A former gamer who was sent to a different world. God has given her the most powerful equipment, but it’s a bear! With this on, there are no enemies that can face her!
Yuna is a very strong and powerful bear, but she can’t take off her costume because she herself is not strong enough. She doesn’t mind anymore being conspicuous and ashamed wherever she goes. She and Fina, whom she asks to take down demons, have a relationship in which they trust each other beyond work. She is usually easy-going, but when she sees someone in trouble, can’t leave them alone.
■ Fina – CV: Azumi Waki
A girl who works as Yuna’s partner taking down demons. She is also the person Yuna trusts the most.
Since she has a younger sister and a mother who was often ill, she is firm despite her young age and has the sense of a normal person. Because of this, she tends to be pushed around by the wild Yuna and the others and has a hard time keeping her mind clear. She is modest but does her best to assert her own will, and when things go wrong, she stops them… but sometimes that seems impossible.
■ Noire Foschurose – CV: Rina Hidaka
Her nickname is Noa.
She lives with her father, the Lord of Crimonia. She is a very curious girl who is interested in everything. Although she often shows signs of not wanting to study, is actually a talented girl who excels in everything she is asked to do, whether it be studying, manners, or dancing. She is in fact a true lady. Loves Yuna, whom she calls “Kuma-san”, and admires her.
■ Shia Foschurose – CV: Inori Minase
Noire’s older sister.
She attends the Royal Academy and lives with her mother who works at the imperial castle. She was once proud of her excellent grades at the school but changed her mind when she was defeated by Yuna, who took her for a fool. Undaunted, she continues to work hard and devote herself to fencing practice. Now, she seems to admire and respect Yuna.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is a Japanese light novel series written by Kumanano and illustrated by 029. It began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2014, later acquired by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha which published its first volume on May 29, 2015, under its PASH! Books imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Sergei began serialization on Comic PASH! on April 28, 2018.
Yuna, a 15-year-old girl, started playing the world’s first VRMMO. She has earned billions of yen in stocks and confines herself in her house playing the game without going to school.
One day, she obtains a non-transferable rare bear outfit in a game update. But the equipment is so embarrassing that she can’t wear it even in the game, when she answers the survey regarding the new update and relaunches the game, she appears in an unknown forest in the bear outfit. Now, facing monsters and real magic in this new world, the bear suit becomes her best weapon.
