After the TV anime in 2014, Wake Up, Girls! is finally getting another in October this year. Apart from the seven idols, the sequel will also be introducing new characters and casts.
New members for the sequel Wake Up, Girls! Shin Sho (Wake Up, Girls！新章) were recruited through a public audition. Their identities and voice actresses will be revealed on the series’ stage event in Wonder Festival2017Summer (30th July).
Created by Ordet and Tatsunoko Production Company, Wake Up, Girls! started out as an anime film and TV anime series in 2014. They are then followed by a net animation series and two anime films. The plot revolves around seven teenage girls who become idols through scouting. Wake Up, Girls! is also the group name of the voice actresses behind the girls.
