Publisher Idea Factory International announced today at their livestream that Charade Maniacs will be released in North America and Europe for Nintendo Switch in Summer 2023. The game will be available in a standard edition for US$49,99 and a special edition for US$89,99.
The scenario of Charade Maniacs is written by Uta Amamiya, who is known for her work in Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly. The character design is created by Teita, the illustrator for Norn9, and Soukaitenki by Idea Factory’s Altergear brand.

In the game, you play as Hiyori Sena, a high school sophomore who has been abducted by a mysterious masked figure. Trapped in the mysterious world of Arcadia with nine others, everyone must act out “dramas” for a chance to escape, all while avoiding the trappings of a traitor among them. Conduct your own investigations to search for clues—and find romance along the way!
