The official website for the Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya live-action film released a new trailer, which announced that the film will be opening in Japan on April 28. The movie will be titled Saint Seiya: The Beginning. The film will also be coming to cinemas outside of Japan later in 2023.
This marks the first of a series of movies for the film, as Toei animation producer Yoshi Ikezawa told the website Variety that the company is looking at “Six movies as a package”, meaning if things go according to plan, the franchise will get five more live-action films.

▍About Saint Seiya Knights of the Zodiac
This live-action adaptation of the Saint Seiya manga series by Masami Kurumada, tells the story of Seiya, a young teenage boy who embarks on a journey of gods and myths to become the legendary knight of Pegasus.
The film serves as a retelling of this story and will be aired as six feature films. The first one dubbed “The Beginning”, follows Seiya trying to save his sister when he unknowingly taps into his power of the Pegasus, and has to make a choice whether he wants to embrace his destiny, or save his sister.
