Directed by Fumihiko Sori, live action Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師) reveals four new pictures and a new trailer today (28th July). Roy Mustang (Dean Fujioka), Winry Rockbell (Tsubasa Honda), Alphonse Elric, Riza Hawkeye (Misako Renbutsu), Envy (Kanata Hongo) can been seen in the pictures.
Originally a manga series by Hiromu Arakawa (荒川弘) and serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2001 to 2010, the story is set in a world where alchemy blossoms and is widely-used. The Elric brothers begin their journey in this chaotic world as they search for the Philosopher’s Stone. Over 70,000,000 copies of the manga have been sold all over the world. It was even made into two series of TV anime and two anime films.
The movie will premiere on 1st December.
