The second season of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury will premiere on April 9. In anticipation of the new season, a special program will air on April 2, providing a recap of the first season’s storyline through digest footage and new narration.
The narrator for this program has not yet been announced. But from March 5, a special digest video of episodes 7 to 12 from the first season will be available for viewing on the Gundam Channel on YouTube.
As part of the promotional activities for the second season, over 50 billboards and posters will be displayed around the Shibuya Station area in Tokyo from March 6 to 14.
Additionally, from March 10 to 12, a special exhibition event Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury EXPO will be held at the Shibuya Cast Space Garden in Tokyo. This exhibition will allow fans to revisit the first season’s storyline and immerse themselves in the Gundam universe.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is an original mecha Japanese anime series, being the fifteenth installment of Sunrise’s Gundam franchise. The Witch from Mercury marks Gundam TV’s first main anime production in 7 years since Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and the first series in the franchise to feature a female lead character.
“This witch rides a Gundam…” In an era where corporations control interstellar space travel and control the economy, a lone girl from Mercury travels to Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Beneritt Group which owns a monopoly on the mobile suit industry.
Her name is Suletta Mercury, and with a fire burning in her heart, she steps forth into a new world filled with politics, machines, and war, and becomes known as The Witch From Mercury.
