The television anime adaptation of Kazuha Kishimoto’s Summoned to Another World… Again? fantasy light novel series has released a new key visual and the second trailer, focusing on the struggle between the protagonist Setsu and his once-Isekai partner Touma. The anime will premiere on April 9.
The series follows high school student Setsu, who has been summoned to the fantasy world of Eclair for a second time. The first time around, Setsu and Touma managed to quell the war and save the world. But now, Touma has returned as an enemy. Setsu must once again fight to protect this world and defeat Touma, who was once his comrade and friend.
The second trailer starts with a scene depicting the bond between Setsu and Touma, who fought together during the first time they were summoned to the other world. However, Touma later appears to be the main antagonist, who wants to destroy the world they once protected.

Written by Kazuha Kishimoto and illustrated by 40hara, Summoned to Another World… Again? was serialized online between March 2015 and December 2016 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, followed by nine epilogue chapters between February 2017 and October 2020. It was later acquired by Futabasha, which published five volumes from October 2015 until July 2017 under his Monster Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Arashiyama has been serialized digitally in Futabasha’s Web Comic Action since June 2018.
After rescuing a world he was summoned to from calamity, Setsu lived a life of peace and excess popularity. One day however he falls into a trap and is forcibly returned to his original world, and had to start over his life as a baby. Living his life again as a gloomy high schooler, this ex-hero is once again called to action, as he is suddenly summoned once again to that same world he saved to once again save it!
