Puppet drama series Thunderbolt Fantasy (東離劍遊紀) is getting a spin-off drama soon. The show titled Thunderbolt Fantasy: Sei Shin Ikken (東離劍遊紀 生死一劍) has recently released a teaser video to announce the return of existing characters and the new character.

The new character Tiě Dí Xiān (鐵笛仙) is voiced by Isshin Chiba. The name’s literal meaning is Iron Flute Deity.
Sei Shin Ikken is loosely based on the spin-off novel first sold at AnimeJapan this year. The plot consists of one arc from the novel and a new short story written by the series’ screenwriter Urobuchi Gen. It is an complement story set between the first season and the second season.
The release dates of both Sei Shin Ikken and the sequel are yet to be announced.
