The live-action adaptation of Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games (Tai Ari Deshita. ~Ojо̄-sama wa Kakutо̄ Gēmu Nante Shinai~) revealed a new trailer previewing the series’ story and the girl’s drive to attend a fighting game tournament, and additional cast members.
The trailer also shows off the game the girls will be playing, and it seems Capcom si the one sponsoring this series as the game they’re playing is none other than Street Fighter V Champion Edition. The show’s theme song is “Seishun Wo Kirisaku Hado” by Atarashii Gakkо̄ no Leaders.
The series also revealed additional cast members, with Mei Tanaka as Hana Ichinose, Aina Yamada as Morino Fujinomiya, Mone Akitani as Natsume Sakisaka, Myra Arai as Makoto Kamijо̄, and Asuka Kawatoko as Yumeko Mamiya.
The Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Game live-action series debuts on May 19, and the series is also getting an anime series though it has received little updates.

Created by Eri Ejima, Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games is a manga series that began serializing in Kadokawa’s monthly Comic Flapper back in 2020 and has been collected into 5 volumes while also being officially translated into English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Kuromi Girls’ Academy is a prestigious, refined, and elegant high school that teaches its girl attendees everything required to be an elegant woman while nurturing the best of their talents through exceptional teaching, extracurricular activities, and manners.
In this school, young Aya Mitsuki finally attends her dream school after receiving a scholarship and hopes to become as elegant as the school’s idol Shirayui. But one day when walking down the school hallway, she finds the Shirayui playing her favorite fighting game series, Iron Senpai 4 and finds out she’s a trash-talking, passionate gamer!
The series follows her and more comrades she makes in her school, as they play fighting games in private and eventually go to participate in fighting game tournaments, each with their own pride and motivations on the line!
