The mobile games company Akatsuki Games, developers of Dokkan Battle and Romancing Saga Re; universe announced that it’s brand new IP, Majyo No Furo Life (The Bathing Life of Witches) is getting a smartphone game adaptation by NetEase Games.
Little is known about the game project currently, however, it was announced that further information about the game will be revealed at the upcoming NetEase Connect 2023 show, which is scheduled to be broadcasted on May 20, 20:30 [JST].
Meanwhile, the game also does have an official website, Youtube Channel, and Twitter which will be updated as more information arrives, with the website having what sounds like the game’s soundtrack, a fairly calm and chill tune with flowing water and birds chirping as you’d hear at an open hot spring.
▍About Majyo no Furo Life
Majyo no Furo Life is a new IP established by Akatsuki and Hiroaki Iwano, most known for his work on Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur, Mashiro Witch, and Alice Order. The project is conceived as a series of projects, with a visual novel also in the works.
The theme of the project centers around witches, hot springs, and a calming life. It aims to spread a laid-back and easygoing life while enjoying hot springs throughout the world, raising awareness of a hot spring’s healing properties, and various types of springs, kind of similar to what Laid-Back Camp does for camping.
As the title suggests the IP is centered around a character called Sapitetrue, nicknamed Sapi, who is a witch coming from another world and lost all of her memories, but through a chance encounter with a hot-spring-loving girl called Yunoka, she falls in love with the charm of Hot Springs.
