NetEase Games announced on the NetEase Connect 2023 online event that the global release of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is officially set for the summer of 2023 on PC, iOS, and Android. Pre-registration for the game is also available now.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a collectible card game RPG that is set in the iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a decade after the events of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”. The game faithfully recreates the magical world where players can learn potion-making, participate in dances, and even take part in exciting Quidditch matches in a completely original story. After its Asia launch last year, the game has reached more than 50 million downloads.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened combines RPG and card game elements, where players have to dual against magical creatures, dark wizards, and other players with different cards in real time. Cards located at the bottom of the screen represent spells, incantations, abilities, and summoned beasts that can be used during the duels.
As a promotional incentive, a code, “HPMAMAGIC,” has been released that will reward players with 50 gems and 1,000 coins, valid for two weeks after the game’s release.
