The staff behind Season 2 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series released a new trailer, this time previewing the show’s opening theme song, and more characters.
The opening theme song is “Blue House” (Ao no Sumika) performed by Tatsuya Kitani, and the trailer previes more of Gojo’s past, as well as scenes including Riko Amanai, Toji Fushiguro, and Geto Suguru. The anime also replaced Sunhoo Park with Shōta Goshozono as the new director, and released two sets of character visuals featuring the current members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College.
The Jujutsu Kaisen premieres on July 6.

The anime also released a new set of character visuals featuring the characters in the current timtline, giving us a good look at how they’ll appear this season, though it’s mostly the same as in the first one with a few alterations such as Megumi’s hair. While these characters were shown their cast members weren’t mentioned in the trailer.
▍About Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen is an ongoing manga seriee by Gege Akutani that’s serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, and began its run on March 5 2018, here it currently has 22 tankobon volumes as of March.
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna.
Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
The second season of the anime is split into two sections, with one half following the part of Gojo Satoru, and the other half going into the Shibuya Incident arc.
