The widely popular RPG Honkai Star Rail has revealed details for its upcoming version 1.1 update “Galactic Roaming,” which is set to arrive on June 7, 2023. The update introduces players to three new characters: Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong, together with new companion missions and limited-time events.
The three announced characters, who have made appearances in Honkai: Star Rail’s main story, will now become officially playable characters. The update will also include new content for exploration in locations like Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI, and Xianzhou Luofu.

Silver Wolf, known as a super-genius hacker within the Stellaron Hunters, has the capability to easily break through all defense systems. As a Quantum-Type character following the Path of Nihility, she can apply various debuffs to enemies, boosting the combat superiority of her allies. Her Technique can deal damage and reduce the enemy’s toughness, bypassing their Weakness. When she unleashes her Ultimate, Silver Wolf gains the advantage for the team by dealing damage and reducing enemy defense.
Luocha, a mysterious wandering merchant, is always seen carrying a curious coffin. Despite his elegant look and gentlemanly demeanor, his presence instills a sense of suspicion. Luocha, an Imaginary-Type character following the Path of Abundance, has medical knowledge and excels at healing. His unique Skill allows “emergency healing” of any alley in danger without consuming any Skill points. His Ultimate “Death Wish” dispels one buff of all enemies while dealing Imaginary damage.
Yukong, is the Sky-Faring Helm Master. As a leader overseeing commerce, cargo, and passengers of Xianzhou Luofu, are her duties. Following the Path of Harmony, Yukong is also an Imaginary-Type character, focusing on assisting companions. Her combat instincts remain sharp, even if her days on the front lines are over.
▍Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1 Event Warps
In Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1, players will be introduced to two new light cones, “Incessant Rain” and “Echoes of the Coffin” featured in the Light Cone event warps.
In the first phase of the update, players can obtain the limited five-star character “Silver Wolf” through the character warp Contract Zero.
Additionally, the drop rate for the five-star light cone “Incessant Rain” will be increased in the Light Cone Event Warp.
In the second phase, players can get through the character warp Laic Pursuit the five-star character “Luocha” and the four-star character “Yukong”. During this phase, the Light Cone Event Warp will boost the drop rate for the five-star light cone “Echoes of the Coffin”.
Looking ahead to Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2, players will have an opportunity to partake in an in-game event to obtain the four-star character “Yukong” for free. Further details about this upcoming event will be officially announced later.
▍Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities, Starhunt Game, and More
In the city of Belobog, the Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities event sees the Trailblazer recovering lost exhibits and managing the museum, following the Stellaron threat’s removal.
In the Starhunt Game event, Trailblazers can assist Herta Space Station’s network security engineer, Leonard, in locating hidden electronic graffiti across the station and uncovering the secrets they hold. Players can collect these graffiti designs to personalize in-game surfaces and take screenshots.
Gathering graffiti designs will enable players to secure the limited 4-star light cone “Before the Tutorial Mission Starts”. You can achieve this by completing the event mission that allows you to acquire “Always Smiling”. This in-game asset can be traded in at the event shop for the limited light cone special superimposition material, as well as Stellar Jade.
Lastly, the Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1 update will introduce a series of challenges through Stellar Flare, Garden of Plenty, and Lab Assistants in Position. These trials will test Trailblazers’ combat techniques and strategic thinking while offering plentiful rewards.
▍Companion Missions & Gift of Odyssey
Simultaneously, four new Companion Missions will provide deeper insight into the stories of these intriguing characters. Added features like friend chat and automatic enemy pinpointing aim to ensure a smoother gaming experience.
During the “Gift of Odyssey” event after the version update and until July 18, there will be daily rewards for Trailblazers. Each day, by logging into the game, Trailblazers can collect Star Rail special passes up to a total of 10.
