The virtual reality game developer UNIVRS announced that they will be postponing the release of the VR game Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable, which is previously slated for a summer 2023 release. The game is now expected to be available this winter for Quest 2 and Quest Pro.
UNIVRS also revealed a concept trailer that provides a glimpse of what players can expect in this first-ever VR game for the popular Attack on Titan series. In this title, players will join the ranks of the Survey Corps, maneuvering through the buildings within the city walls using the maneuvering equipment. And with the latest VR technologies, the game intends to bring the most immersive experience as if players are directly on the battlefield against the Titans.

The game, based on the popular anime and manga series Attack on Titan, will immerse players in a battle for survival against the series’ infamous man-eating Titans. As a member of the Scout Regiment, players will put on the Omni Directional Mobility Gear, a signature element of the franchise, to take on the colossal enemies and defend humanity.
Key features of Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable include an exhilarating flight experience, utilizing UNIVRS’ anti-motion sickness technology to bring the thrill of cross-range combat against killer Titans to life. The game will also offer multiplayer options, allowing players to team up with another member of the Scout Regiment in cooperative play, or go solo in the fight for humanity.
Strategy is key in the game as players are confronted with numerous enemies. With a wide variety of weapons at their disposal, players will need to devise and execute the best plan to cut down the Titan population in the city.
