Indie game developer Bestman launches a new puzzle game MagiCraze today for Android and iOS devices. This cross-puzzle PvP game brings a new challenge to puzzle lovers as it allows players to compete against each other with different puzzles.
From high-level puzzles requiring chain combinations to casual puzzles with a significant element of luck for beginners, the game aims to foster the thrill of a contest between varied types of puzzles. The game also has an Online Competition Mode for players to compete with friends and players globally. A Story Mode is also available for players who prefer a more solitary experience.

MagiCraze presents an intense online competition with four unique puzzles and seven distinct characters. Players are able to choose a single type of puzzle and character to participate in the competition, with a variety of options that suit both novices and experts.
Advanced puzzles like “Chain” and “Trade” require an understanding of chaining and offsetting concepts and more luck-based, casual puzzles like “Double” and “Shot” for beginners. The game makes it possible for players of all skill levels to compete together without matching difficulty levels.
In competitive matches, actions within each puzzle generate Pressure Blocks which are sent back and forth between opponents. MagiCraze supports both PvP and PvC modes, but the game’s CPU will only play on the Chain puzzle.
During a match, each player chooses a puzzle type and character combination to compete with. The same puzzle can have a different field or skin depending on the chosen character. Players need to carefully consider their strategy as some combinations of characters and puzzles might be disadvantageous.
MagiCraze also offers a single-player Story Mode set in a world spun by Resonant, a mechanism that transforms human joy and surprise into energy that moves the world. The protagonist Stella is searching for her famous magician father and decides to participate in the global magic show, Fantasma. The show is said to grant the MagicRays, which can fulfill any wish, to the winner. The story mode will challenge players with the basics of the puzzles as they participate in the Fantasma magic show and aim for the grand finale.
