Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 was officially announced with a January 2024 release window, following today’s airing of the 12th and final episode of the first season. The second season of the anime will cover the Divine Visionary Selection Exam arc which runs between chapters 41 – 74 of the manga.
The announcement also comes with a new teaser trailer featuring the battle scenes of the first season, the new assassin Cell War, and the dark organization Innocent Zero, to which he belongs.
In addition, to commemorate the end of the first season, the animation studio A-1 Pictures revealed a new illustration centering on the Magia Lupus. The studio will continue to handle the animation production of the second season.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Komoto. The series began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in January 2020 and has since released a total of 16 volumes. VIZ Media is currently publishing the series in English.
