The two-player cooperative puzzle game BOKURA has recently drawn some attention for its unique worldwide and refreshed puzzle mechanics. Now, publisher Kodansha Games Creator’s Lab announced that the game officially leaves its Steam early access, and is now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS, supporting English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options. Crossplay is also supported.
BOKURA in a Different Winter is the latest work by Tokoronyori, a creator known for creating the smartphone game Hitoribocchi Wakusei (Translated as Lonely Planet). In BOKURA, two boys ran away from their homes. On their journey, however, they both pass out and after waking up, they realize that one sees the world of animals and the other the world of machines. They decide to work together to find out why and to return to their original world possibly.
The new 1.0 release will feature an all-new playable epilogue, and an altered ending in the final stages with refreshed puzzle mechanics.

BOKURA is a puzzle adventure game that can only be played with two players, with no single-player or even local co-op being an option. To play the game, two people must play on two separate machines, meaning both people must own the game.
While you have to work together, what you see on your game screens is completely different: One of the players will see the world of machines and the other will see the world of animals. And even though the position of the characters will be identical between both of your instances, to one of you, they might look like an animal out of a picture book, while to the other, they might look like a robot, like below:
You will need to talk to each other to find out what you can and cannot see, and work together to solve the puzzles that appear. You can either play on the same location, but the developers also recommend that you use the voice call app of your preference so that while both of you play, you will need to talk to each other to understand what is happening, solve problems, and make important decisions together.
