Publisher HYBE IM and developer FLINT officially announced ASTRA: Knights of Veda, a dark fantasy 2D RPG that is heading to mobile and PC via Steam in 2023. Drawing inspiration from classic beat ’em ups, Astra: Knights of Veda tells the tale of a world brought into ruin and now will depend on you and several others to help defend it.
With over seven years of development by a team of 120 skilled developers, ASTRA comes from the hands of industry veterans who previously worked in NEXON, NCSOFT, and EA Korea. The game also allows cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms allowing players to continue their heroic adventures wherever they may roam.
The publisher also confirmed that the game’s first demo will be showcased at Gamescom 2023 at their Booth C-038 in Hall 8.1. A new trailer will also be revealed during the event from August 22 through August 27 in Cologne, Germany.

As the Master of the Book, players will have to utilize the Knights of Veda in the best way possible to confront the realm’s various bosses and monsters. Each Knight of Veda wields various skills and weapons, so make use of them as best as possible. You’ll be able to journey with up to four Knights of Veda in your party, or play co-op mode and explore the challenges ahead together.
The action-packed RPG brings a fresh take to the genre by introducing distinctive character skills and dodge rolling. One skill can turn the tides of battle in your favor, and one mistake could mean the end of life.
The game also has a real-time PvP arena mode, in which you can fight alone, or put up the banners and gather other knights to rally for team-based combat. Prove your skills on the battlefield, and rank up based on how well you perform!
