Honey ∞ Parade Games has launched a major update for its mobile strategy game Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link rolling out after maintenance on August 16. This latest update brings two new original characters to the game, Kureha and Tamayura, neither of whom has appeared in any other game or series within the franchise.
Both characters are students at Foundation Star Cross Academy and members of the Zodiac Star Committee along with Leo and Ginrei. Representing the zodiac constellations Capricorn and Libra respectively, Kureha and Tamayura will join the shinobi base.
In addition, the update also unlocks the LR awakening of Daidōji. A new Yōma invasion event and Chapter 55 of the main story will also be added to the game.

▍Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link New Gacha Event
A Newnyū Festival gacha event is now underway, running until August 31. This gacha event features new shinobi Kureha and Tamayura cards. Both are Newnyū cards that can unleash a higher version of their Secret Ninja Arts after meeting a condition in battle.
The gacha event also includes Leo Pairnyū, Ginrei Bakunyū, and Amane Bakunyū 2 cards. The banner features the game’s typical 3+1 10-pull gacha until August 25.

Starting August 16, LR Daidōji’s awakening has been unlocked and can now be obtained through the Mugen Badge exchange.

Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link will also host the event Yōma Invasion – The 24th Formation, beginning on August 16. The invasion event features Evil shinobi and Yin Style terrain. The opponent for this event will be Yōma General – 3rd Seat.
