學園戰姬 Planet Wars
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Feels like a bad copy of Houkai…”
“The only thing this has over Houkai is the Auto feature even busy people can play.”
“The game isn’t bad, but the game punishes free-to-play players… Don’t think it’ll be a hit.”
A combination of Shooting and Action. The game has a certain resemblance with Houkai 3rd, but with cheaper looking models. The gameplay itself is still good, but the game still feels like a cheap imitation of Houkai. The game does feature a Auto system which makes it quite friendly for those who has to work.
▍Middle-earth: Shadow of War Mobile Game
Western Gamer Reactions:
“The concept isn’t bad, but upgrading takes to much time, makes you want to quit.”
“Spending money or not spending money doesn’t affect the main gameplay, pretty good.”
“Is this really f2p? The worst part of this game is how the gacha has shards!”
Released to build hype for the recently released console/PC version of the game, the game uses LOTR/The Hobbit as the base of the story. The character models and the gameplay isn’t entirely bad. Unfortunately, the game is just FILLED with shards upgrading characters takes an insane amount of time. The stunted progress really makes it hard to keep playing.
▍AKB48 Stage Battle 2 Battle Festival
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“AKB Fans MUST play!”
“Already addicted to the game, hope they don’t make it into some pay-to-win trash.”
“Just collecting the members has already made the game fun, hope they make something for SKE/NMB/HKT members!”
Nothing special about the game’s system, but thats not the main point of the game. The game features AKB48 members in both real images as well as 2D models as well! Asides from fans, whether or not this game is going to be a hit to general players remains a mystery.
