Comedy manga series Aho Girl (アホガール) is going to say goodbye soon. The chapter sold in the December issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine will be the last one.
The mangaka Hiroyuki (ヒロユキ) decided to finish the series in Summer last year. “The reason is simply because the serialisation has already been very long (five years)”, he said. He also hoped he could “have time to start a new work soon”. Full announcement is available on Hiroyuki’s blog.
Aho Girl is a slice of life manga featuring an incredibly stupid heroine, Yoshiki. She acts ridiculously and fancies banana a lot. Her best friend is Akuru, a serious and studious neighbour who is the romantic interest of both Yoshiki and the head monitor, Fuki Iincho. Together with other classmates, they lead a fun yet idiotic school life.
The first anime adaption aired between July 2017 and September 2017. It is uncertain whether the anime will be continued after the end of the manga.
