Fullmetal Alchemist’s mangaka Hiromu Arakawa (荒川弘) has illustrated and written a brand new episode for the series. It has been seven years since the last Fullmetal Alchemist manga content was released. The new work Fullmetal Alchemist 0 (鋼の錬金術師0) is said to be a prequel.

Fullmetal Alchemist 0 focuses on the time after Edward Elric becomes a state alchemist and before he starts his journey to take his body back.
It will be given to the audience of live-action Fullmetal Alchemist as a special gift. After 23rd December, audience will get a calendar that features the new cover. The movie is coming on 1st December.
Serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2001 to 2010, the story is set in a world where alchemy blossoms and prevails. The Elric brothers begin their journey to search for the Philosopher’s Stone after failing to revive their dead mother through alchemy, which causes the elder brother to lose an arm and a leg, and the other one to lose his entire body. Over 70,000,000 copies of the manga have been sold all over the world. It was even made into two series of TV anime and two anime films.
