Today (14th November), at the Harajuku QUEST HALL, Japanese female idol group Nogizaka46 held a press event for their new mobile game, Nogizaka46 Rhythm Festival.
At the event, members of the idol group including Mai Shiraishi, Sayuri Matsumura, Manatsu Akimoto, Erika Ikuta, and Reika Sakurai etc. did a live demo of the upcoming game.
Nogizaka46 is estimated to be released in Winter 2017. The game is the idol group’s first rhythm game, but earlier in April, a love simulation mobile game, NogiKoi, was released. Currently, 16 songs will be available at the game’s launch and one new song will be added each month. The new rhythm game will feature scenes, including unseen footages, from the idol group’s live performances to add a live performance atmosphere for players. Players will be able to change the camera settings to focus on one specific member or watch the entire stage.
The game is currently available for pre-registration. If the pre-registration number hits over 20,000, all players will receive 5 exclusive character cards when the gamelaunchess!
