Manga Time Kirara Forward‘s ongoing manga Harukana Receive (はるかなレシーブ) will be having a TV anime series soon. The anime’s official site opened today to reveal a key visual and staff information.
Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul’s storyboard artist Toshiyuki Kubooka is directing the show at C2C studio. The script is being written by The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan’s screenwriter Toko Machida while Oneechan ga Kita’s art director Takeshi Oda is designing the characters.
Harukana Receive is written and illustrated by Nyoijizai (如意自在), who published it in Manga Time Kirara Forward starting 2015. The story revolves around Haruka Ozora, a high school girl who has just moved from Tokyo to Okinawa. Her cousin in Okinawa, Kanata Higa, is of her age but shorter. Kanata has a bitter story in which she had to give up beach volleyball due to her height. When tall Haruka arrives, she decides to pick up on her hobby again.
The release date and cast information is not revealed yet.
