Kyokai no Rinne (境界のRINNE) has officially finished its 9-year run. The last chapter is published in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday which is available starting today.
Kyokai no Rinne is written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi (高橋 留美子), who is also the mangaka for Inuyasha, Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura, and Ranma ½. First published in 2009, it is a comedy supernatural manga similar to Ranma ½. The story follows Sakura Mamiya, a high school girl with the ability to see spirits. At school, she meets the half-human-half-shinigami Rinne Rokudo. Rinne makes a living by getting rid of spirits that linger in world. They eventually become partners and help people expel spirits together. Three anime seasons aired between 2015 and 2017.
