The classic series Kitaro of the Graveyard (Gegege no Kitaro – ゲゲゲの鬼太郎) celebrates their 50th Anniversary in 2018! Today (3rd January), Toei Animation releases a special 50th Anniversary website for the series, teasing a new project for the works.
Kitaro of the Graveyard is a manga series created in 1960 by Shigeru Mizuki (水木 しげる). The anime adaptation first aired in Japan on 3rd January 1968 in Japan.
The anniversary website recalls the timeline of the anime series, decades after decades, showing the changes in from the original in 1968 to the most recent version aired back in 2007 – 2009, for fans to return cherished childhood memories the series has given them.
