Today (24th January),Level-5 updated the mobile version of Layton Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaire’s Conspiracy! The first chapter of the game will now be available for free as a trial, further content will have to be purchased.
The puzzle game has changed its protagonist to Professor Layton’s daughter, Katrielle (CV: Kasumi Arimura). In the plot, Katrielle searches for her missing father with her dog Sherl while solving different strange cases occurred in London.
In addition to the first chapter of the game becoming free, the game will now also feature a new payment plan. Chapters 2-4 will be available for 600 JPY, Chapters 5-8 and Chapters 9-12 will be available at 720 JPY (per part), and finally all chapters (2-12) will be available at 1900JPY.
