Pearl Abyss’ Black Desert Mobile will finally arrive tomorrow exclusively in Korea.
Black Desert Online is a MMORPG for PC first released in Korea in 2015. It is set in a fantasy world where two countries, the Republic of Calpheon and the Kingdom of Valencia, are in conflict. The PS4 and Xbox One ports are currently in development.
According to the producers’ interview with This Is Game, the mobile adaption is pretty much the same with the original version but with additional features added, for example, teleportation points in major areas.
The company’s strategic planning director Young-chul Ham announced that they had plans for overseas release at a media showcase earlier in November 2017. “We also want to let our global users know that we plan to launch Black Desert Mobile globally in 2018.”
The exact global release schedule is not yet confirmed.
