Square Enix is planning to launch another otome project after its not-so-successful first venture – Kimi Kiri. This time, the game is an idol-breeding mobile game titled Idol Fantasy (アイドルファンタジー).
The developer has recruited a number of character designers who have previously worked on popular franchises, including Gen Kobayashi (Schoolgirl Strikers), Tetsuya Nomura (Final Fantasy series), Yasuhisa Izumisawa (World of Final Fantasy), Teita (Norn 9), Higasa Akai (The Royal Tutor), and many more.
The game will launch in 2018 Summer. Pre-registration is already open.

“I meet you finally”
The person who said this also told you he was the idol you just saw.
He wielded a sword and flied in the sky – wait…is this some kind of magic?
The top idols here have a secret – they are heroes in the fantasy world!?
What’s even more unbelievable is that you have to be their manager for a very long time…

The cast consist of voice actors who are famed for singing as virtual idols. As of this moment, known members include Toshiki Masuda, Ayumu Murase, Natsuki Hanae, Makoto Furukawa, Kentaro Kumagai, Arthur Lounsbery, Taku Yashiro, Yuto Uemura, Yusuke Shirai, Junta Terashima, Yuto Suzuki, Genki Okawa, Jun Osuka, Kazutomi Yamamoto, Tsubasa Yonaga.
