Capcom has announced that they will be releasing Resident Evil 7: biohazard on Nintendo Switch as Resident Evil 7: biohazard Cloud Version.
Capcom announced that the reason why the Switch version is called the “Cloud Version” is that the game will run over the Ubitus cloud service, meaning players will require a stable internet connection to play.
The Switch version will launch in Japan on 24th May. Players will be able to play for up to 15 minutes for free before purchasing access to the full game. At the moment, Capcom has yet to announce whether players will be able to purchase the game for a one-off price, but players will be able to purchase 180 days game access for 2000 yen.
