With the heat of summer just starting to set in, the tech otakus of miHoYo are back with a refreshing update for the anime action RPG, Honkai Impact 3rd! The time is just right for a summer (faction) vacation (battle) by the seaside with your favorite Valkyries of St. Freya High School. Of course, no school trip to the seaside could possibly be approved without proper supervision, especially when Kiana is involved! So, to keep things under control, this update the game will be introducing St. Freya’s principal, Theresa! Let’s break out the beach balls, grab some sunscreen, and take a look at Honkai Impact 3rd’s “Summertime Battle” update!
▍Introducing the World’s Cutest Valkyrie, Theresa!
As mentioned earlier, this update will be featuring an all-new Valkyrie for Captains to collect: Theresa! At first glance, principal Theresa may be a little small in size, but whatever she lacks in height (and running speed) she definitely makes up for with damage. Theresa will be adding some welcomed diversity to any Captain’s lineup with her ranged DPS and unique control skills. She will be arriving in an exclusive Expansion Supply for the Summertime Battle update with two of her signature battlesuits: the A-rank Valkyrie Pledge and S-rank Violet Executor. So be ready Captains, Theresa-sama is here to lay down the law!
▍Log in Now to Collect Free Crystals + Free Bronya Costume!
To kick off the event, Captains can log into the game for 7 days to collect some hefty rewards, including 600 crystals, a 3-star weapon, as well as an all-new summertime costume for Bronya! In addition to the login rewards for all the free-to-play warriors out there, the update event will also be including some limited-time bonuses for crystal purchases, making it a great time to get some extra value with those crystals! Bonus rewards will include everything from weapons, Valkyries, to even Supply Cards, so be sure to make a formal bow and say “arigatou!” after visiting the store!
What summertime event would be complete without some summertime costumes? To match the theme of the summertime event, new swimsuit costumes are coming for the Valkyrie ladies! In addition to Bronya’s free login swimsuit, Kiana, Himeko, as well as Yae Sakura will all be receiving new swimsuit costumes! Better yet, Captains will be able to earn these costumes for free by participating in the Summertime Battle event. What about stigmata, you ask? Don’t worry! To match the new swimsuit costumes, some limited edition swimsuit-themed stigmata are also coming in the event. Is it getting hot in here, or what!
