Following the previous announcement of the North American version of Terra Battle 2 shutting down, today (28th June), Mistwalker announced that the Japanese version of Terra Battle 2 will also be closing down in September this year.
Unlike the English announcement, the Japanese announcement offered more details as to why the game service will be coming to an end. According to the official announcement, due to Silicon Studio reducing their work in the gaming industry, it will be hard to offer satisfactory service to players in the future which is why the game’s service will be coming to an end.
Starting today, players will no longer be able to purchase any Super Energy form the in-game store. Players will still be able to use any remaining Super Energy in their possession from now until 28th September when the game’s service officially comes to an end.
▍About the Game
Terra Battle 2 is led by the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi (坂口 博信). It inherits the setting from the first game and the plot directly follows the plot of the first one.
