Nerdist, Subsidiary of Legendary Pictures, has revealed that Legendary Pictures and Toho Co., Ltd. will be working together to create a live-action adaptation of My Hero Academia!
The film will be produced by Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter on behalf of Legendary, and Ryosuke Yoritomi will be leading the project for Shueisha. Legendary has yet to reveal any cast or the plot for the live action adaptation.

My Hero Academia is a manga written by Kohei Horikoshi’s (堀越 耕平) and has been serialized on Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a plain student who works hard to be a superhero like his idol All Might. Despite having no superpower at all in a world where possessing special ability is the norm, he enters the elite hero school U.A. High School.
