During a live-stream program this morning (22nd November) Sega announced that their 30th-anniversary commemoration mobile game IDOLA Phantasy Star will be released on 27th November.
Phantasy Star was first released in 1987 for the Master System. The original series features a Dragon Quest-like overworld RPG system. The spin-offs are made as action RPG, turn-based RPG, and a MMO. This new mobile spin-off, however, is going to be a command RPG in which players form a team of four and simply launch skills at the perfect time.
Phantasy Star Online (PSO) fans may enjoy this title for it is developed by PSO2’s key members, including producer Shuntaro Tanaka, director Tomomasa Chin and art director Sho Mutsuura.
