City Connection announces the showcase of the playable demo of its upcoming nostalgic game Ninja JaJaMaru Collection (忍者じゃじゃ丸 コレクション), which sets to launch for PlayStation 4 and Switch on 12th December in Japan.
Ninja JaJaMaru-kun is originally an action game released in Japan back in 1985 by Jaleco for the Famicom. The game starts with Princess Sakura bring kidnapped by Damazu-Dayuu, and as hero Ninja-Kun is away on a journey, the task falls to young JaJaMaru-kun.
In the game, players will start with three lives and can only run, jump and throw shurikens. The game is divided into different stages and each is dominated by ghost-like enemies inspired from Japanese folklore, with their names displayed before stage begins.
The Ninja JaJaMaru Collection will include six titles of the series, including Ninja JaJaMaru-kun (1985, Famicom), JaJaMaru no Daibouken (1986, Famicom), JaJaMaru Ninpouchou (1989, Famicom), JaJaMaru Gekimaden: Maboroshi no Kinmajou (1990, Famicom), Ninja JaJaMaru: Ginga Daisakusen (1991, Famicom) and a new one Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle.

Apart from the playable demo, City Connection also invites the performer of the game’s opening theme song, MCU, to perform at the stage event, “Ninja JaJaMaru Collection Special Mini Live”.
