The official twitter of Haruichi Furudate’s (古舘春一) Haikyu!! (ハイキュー!!) announces that the shonen manga is entering its final arc in the 48th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, which is released today (28th October).

The manga took a break in the last issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, mentioning that the author was performing research. Its previous chapter also noticed that the manga would enter a new arc, with the story moving to “the other side of the Earth.”
The world-acclaimed volleyball manga has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since February 2012. It has printed more than 34 million copies, and its next 40th tankobon volume is set to be released on 1st November by Shueisha.
The fourth season of its TV anime adaptation series, titled as “Haikyu!! TO THE TOP” is also scheduled to premiere in January 2020 after two years from its last season.
