Kadokawa has recently announced The God Act (神様しばい) will land on both iOS and Android on 28th November! The game is co-produced by voice actors, Kimura Ryouhei (木村良平) and Nobuhiko Okamoto (岡本信彥). The God Act was announced on an online radio show, Electric Shock Girl’s Smile.
The character designs are illustrated by Tama (たま), who is well-known for her illustrations for Vocaloid; and the script is supervised by Fumiya Matsuzaki (松崎史也), an actor/scriptwriter, who acts in BLAZBLUE and Children of the Whales. The first chapter is free to download and play, later chapters are pay-to-play and they will be revealed after 28th November.
▍Story
The game centers around the god of Norse mythology Loki, who meets a genus high schooler Mahiro on earth. Their story starts as they join the drama club in Nakatsu Gakuin High School and develop bonds with other club members.
▍Gameplay
The game features a text-based story for players to follow the growth path of the character as they strive to become a stage actor.
Players can enjoy the dramatic performance of the voice actors as the stage performance inside the main story is presented with binaural recording. It is known to create a 3-D stereo sound sensation for the listener of actually being in the room with the performers or instruments.
Players have to solve the in-game puzzle in order to enhance the intimacy level of the characters and unlock their side story.
