An anime adaptation of the comedy manga A Destructive God Sits Next to Me (ぼくのとなりに暗黒破壊神がいます。) just revealed its 2nd PV and the cast today (22nd November). It is scheduled to air on TOKYO MX (and more) from 12th January 2020 (Sunday).
A Destructive God Sits Next to Me is originally a manga series written and illustrated by Arata Aki (亜樹新). It has been serialized in KADOKAWA’s Monthly Comic Gene since 2013. 
This anime adaption is produced by EMT Squared. Atsushi Nigorikawa (濁川敦) is directing with Natsuko Takahashi (高橋ナツコ) composing the series.
▍Story
The story centers around the high school life of Seri Koyuki (小雪芹), a sophomore who tries to avoid strange people but he ends up being the straight man to his odd classmates. One of the many of them is Kabuto Hanadori (花鳥兜), who has chūnibyō (second-year middle school syndrome) and claims his eye-patch seals his dark alter ego. Everything he does is begging to be called out (Tsukkomi). Seri tries to live a normal high school life but it is easier said than done. A nichijou-kind of comedy starring high school boys starts right here…..
