LEVEL-5 announced today (17th December) on Twitter that its mobile game Dragon & Colonies (ドラゴン＆コロニーズ) (iOS/Android) will end services on 17th February 2020, 14:00 (JST).
The game was released on 18th June this year. The game’s rating on QooApp is 2.9/5 (as of 18/12), which is not very high. In general, players appreciate the concept of the game and graphics. However, there are big concerns such as pity rate for gacha, unpolished PVP battle system, and the game is unbalanced on the whole.

The operation team expresses the greatest gratitude to all the players who enjoy and support the game in this short period of time. According to the announcement, the decision was made because the team, unfortunately, cannot provide a comfortable gameplay experience for the players in the long term.
■ Regarding the in-game currency “Crystal” (クリスタル)
・They can be used until the game ends service.
・Players will not be able to purchase “Crystal” after 19th December at 18:00 (JST).
・Players can request a refund for the paid “Crystal”. We will announce further details shortly regarding the process. Please note that we cannot arrange a refund if you have deleted our app.

“We have tried to present an unprecedented universe and game system by bringing different elements together, but unfortunately we are not prepared well enough and hence unable to provide a comfortable gameplay experience for the players. The game is led by a renowned video game producer Keiji Inafune (稲船敬二) (Mega Man series, Lost Planet and Dead Rising). It is an ARPG, set on a three-dimensional cube, which allows players to build their kingdom. After building a castle on the cube, you can attack the kingdom of other players and makes their kingdoms your colonies.
