LEVEL-5 announced yesterday (19th December) on Twitter that its mobile game Otome Yusha (オトメ勇者) will end services on 14th February 2020, 16:00 (JST).
The game was released on 25th June 2017 and went down for maintenance in October 2018. It re-opened on 25th June this year and changed the Japanese game title to “Tengu’s Illuminasia～Otome Yusha～” (天惺のイリュミナシア～オトメ勇者～). The game’s rating on QooApp is 4.4/5 (as of 20/12) and received positive reviews. In general, they appreciate the stellar voice cast, character design, story, and graphics a lot.
▍Official Announcement
According to the announcement, the operation team aims to bring the best gameplay experience to the players since the game was launched. Unfortunately, the team believes that it will be difficult to provide services that can meet players’expectations in the future. Therefore, it decided to end the services.
The game will stop selling in-game items on 26th December.

The team will keep updating the game as usual until it ends services, so the game can have a perfect ending. In addition, the follow-up story will be released on other platforms, so please stay tuned for that.

Otome Yusha’s characters are designed by Chinatsu Kurahana (倉花千夏) (Uta no Prince-sama). The game is animated by A-1 Pictures, while Level-5 is handling the story and game development. In the game, the player will play as the Yusha (hero) of the world, who can form a team of three slayers and battle against the devils.
