The TV anime adaptation of Sun Takeda’s (武田すん) manga series Gleipnir (グレイプニル) confirmed that it will air in Japan in April 2020. It also revealed the main voice cast and H-el-ical// (ヘリカル) will perform the opening theme song.
Kazuhiro Yoneda (米田和弘) (Yona of the Dawn, Hozuki’s Coolheadedness Season 2) is directing the series at PINE JAM, and Shinichi Inotsume (猪爪慎一) is in charge of the series composition. Takahiro Kishida (岸田隆宏) (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, DURARARA!!, Haikyu!!) is responsible for character design.
▍Story
The story centers on Shuichi Kagaya (加賀谷修一), a seemingly normal high school student who has a monster (in a dog mascot costume) living inside his body. One day, his classmate Kurea Aoki (青木紅愛) found out his secret and he can no longer live the normal high school life. A pretty dangerous boy-meets-girl story begins…
