The new anime adaption of Shungiku Nakamura’s (中村春菊) BL hit manga The World’s Greatest First Love / Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi (世界一初恋) reveals the 1st PV and four key visuals for its “Propose Arc” (プロポーズ編). The anime is slated to open in Japanese theatre on 21st February 2020.

The project is a celebration of the fifth anniversary of Kadokawa’s Emerald magazine. It centers around the romantic story between two protagonists Ritsu Onodera (小野寺 律) and Masamune Takano (高野 政宗) as they work as newly recruited manga editor and editor-in-chief in the shōjo manga department. Tomoya Takahashi (高橋 知也) is directing the series for the first time at Studio Deen.

The PV also features the new episode’s theme song “Mirai mo Kimi no Te no nakade” (The future is in your hands as well) performed by Shuhei Kita (喜多修平).
