The second season of the anime adaptation of Kaiu Shirai (白井カイウ) and Posuka Demizu’s (出水ぽすか) fantasy mange “The Promised Neverland” (約束のネバーランド) is confirmed to return in October 2020.
The official website has updated a new visual and teaser video for the announcement. No further details are yet announced.

▍About The Promised Neverland
The Promised Neverland is a Japanese manga series written by Kaiu Shirai (白井 カイウ) and illustrated by Posuka Demizu (出水ぽすか). It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 1st August 2016, with the individual chapters collected and published by Shueisha into sixteen tankōbon volumes as of October 2019.
An anime television series adaptation by CloverWorks premiered from January to March 2019 and is directed by Mamoru Kanbe (神戸 守). A live-action movie, starring Minami Hamabe as Emma, Jyo Kairi as Ray and Rihito Itagaki as Norman, is slated to premiere on 18th December 2020 in Japan.
Following the trio of young orphans in Emma, Norman, and Ray, the series dives into the children attempting to escape from a world that is all but impossible to avoid, with monsters lurking around every corner.
