TV anime adaptation of Taku Kuwabara’s (桑原太矩) adventure manga Drifting Dragons (空挺ドラゴンズ) reveals a 3-minute PV, previewing its first episode and a new cooking show hosted by main voice actor Tomoaki Maeno (前野智昭) and celebrity chef Modegi.
The anime is directed by anime film “BLAME!” director Tadahiro “Tady” Yoshihara (吉平”Tady”直弘) and features animation production by Polygon Pictures. “Assassination Classroom” scriptwriter Makoto Uezu (上江洲誠) is penning the script. The anime is scheduled to premiere on 8th January 2020.
The opening theme song “Ultramarine” (群青) is performed by Yoh Kamiyama (神山羊), while the ending song “Absolute Zero” (絕對零度) is performed by girl band Red Park.
▍Cooking Show “MIKA’S Kitchen”
A 12-episode cooking show “MIKA’S Kitchen” hosted by main voice actor Tomoaki Maeno (前野智昭) and Chef Modegi is confirmed to stream on the official Drifting Dragons Twitter and +Ultra YouTube channel on 8th January 2020. Tomoaki will challenge the recipe to appear in the anime.

Dragons, the rulers of the sky.
To many people on the surface, they are a dire threat, but at the same time, a valuable source of medicine, oil, and food. There are those who hunt the dragons.
They travel the skies in dragon-hunting airships.
This is the story of one of those ships, the “Quin Zaza”, and its crew.
