The Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization (BPO) in Japan has recently conducted a survey on Japanese TV programmes. Many of the Japanese audience address the issue with explicit scenes of ongoing TV anime Scum’s Wish（クズの本懐）.
Scum’s Wish features explicit scenes about sex and kissing among high school students. According to the survey report, many believe it should not be broadcasted by mainstream TV channels despite the fact that it airs at midnight. Some Japanese netizens even said it wasn’t normal at all if the show didn’t receive any complaints.
Beside complaints on Scum’s Wish, the survey also suggests that many audience are not happy with advertisements about in-game paid contents on TV. Those in-game paid contents are related to gambling sometimes, and thus many fear that it encourages gambling among children and teenagers.
Scum’s Wish is adapted from the manga of the same title by Mengo Yokoyari（横槍メンゴ）. The story revolves around a couple, Hanabi Yasuraoka and Mugi Awaya, who date each other to fill the emptiness brought by unrequited love.
