Square Enix confirms the western release of smartphone RPG “Romancing SaGa Re;universe” in summer 2020. The game also opens for pre-registration ahead of a March 2020 closed beta test. A new gameplay trailer is also revealed together with the announcement.

▍Overview
Romancing SaGa Re;universe is a mobile sequel to Romancing SaGa 3. The game takes place three hundred years after the events of Romancing SaGa 3. Players will be able to explore a new-yet-familiar world with new and familiar characters alike.
The game released in Japan in late 2018 and became a hit, with over 15 million downloads accrued. It was created by veteran developers, including legendary creative Akitoshi Kawazu (FINAL FANTASY®, Romancing SaGa, SaGa Frontier), and features fast-paced and strategic combat the SaGa series is known for.
There will be a Closed Beta Test in late March that Android players can participate in, and players may be chosen to join if they click pre-register in the store.
