The TV anime adaptation of Yasuyuki Kosaka’s (小坂泰之) manga Hōkago Teibō Nisshi / Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater (放課後ていぼう日誌) streams a new PV that previews the opening and ending songs performed by the anime’s main cast. The anime is scheduled to premiere on 7th April 2020.
The opening theme song “SEA HORIZON” and ending song “To the Fishing World” (釣りの世界へ) is performed by the anime character Hina Tsurugi (CV: Kanon Takao), Natsumi Hodaka ( CV: Natsumi Kawaida), Yūki Kuroiwa ( CV: Yū Sasahara) and Makoto Ohno (CV: Satomi Akesaka).

▍Story
Hina is an introvert who always stays indoors and makes crafts, but after moving to a seaside town, she meets Kuroiwa, a senpai who is a member of the mysterious “Embankment Club.” Hina joins the Club due to the persistent persuasion of Kuroiwa. Although Hina is not a fan of sea creatures, she gradually starts to appreciate the appeal of the ocean after fishing with the eccentric club members.
▍Staff and Production
The series is animated by Doga Kobo and directed by “Honey and Clover” key animation Takaharu Okuma (大隈 孝晴), with “Clannad” Fumihiko Shimo (志茂 文彦) handling series composition, and “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” key animation Katsuhiro Kumagai (熊谷 勝弘) designing the characters.
