The live-action movie “Rurouni Kenshin Final Chapter The Final／The Beginning” (るろうに剣心 最終章 The Final／The Beginning) reveals a poster and more returning casts. Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK will return as the theme song artists.
Two new visuals have been revealed confirming that Yusuke Iseya (伊勢谷友介) and Tao Tsuchiya (土屋太鳳) reprises their roles from the previous film as Aoshi Shinomori (四乃森蒼紫) and Misao Makimachi (巻町操).
As previously announced, Takeru Satoh (佐藤 健) is reprising his role as Himura Kenshin (緋村 剣心), together with Emi Takei (武井 咲) as Kamiya Kaoru (神谷 薫), Munetaka Aoki (青木 崇高) as Sagara Sanosuke (相楽 左之助), Yū Aoi (蒼井 優) as Megumi Takani (高荷 恵). Riku Ohnishi (大西利空) is newly cast as Myōjin Yahiko (明神 弥彦). Yosuke Eguchi (江口 洋介) also returns as Hajime Saitō (斎藤 一).
Mackenyu Arata (新田真剣佑) casts as Enishi, one of the main antagonists of the series, who seeks revenge on Kenshin for killing his older sister.
Kasumi Arimura (有村架純) will play the character Tomoe Yukishiro (雪代巴), who was Kenshin’s wife during his days as the assassin Battōsai.
The Final Chapter will be separated into two movies. The first part “Rurouni Kenshin Final Chapter The Final” will open in Japan on 3rd July 2020, while the second part “Rurouni Kenshin Final Chapter The Beginning” will open on 7th August 2020.
The first movie will feature the “Jinchū” arc and the second will tell the story of how Kenshin got his cross-shaped scar.
