Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ original TV anime “Maesetsu!: Opening Act” (まえせつ！) reveals the second PV and is scheduled to premiere this summer. The comedy anime features original illustrations by “Lucky Star” author Kagami Yoshimizu (美水かがみ).

▍Synopsis
The story centers around four young girls, Fubuki Kitakaze, Mafuyu Kogarashi, Rin Araya and Nayuta Asōgi who aim to become a comedian. Each has a different day/ night part-time job, they practice their gag performance every day with a dream to bring happiness to people around the world.
One day, they are invited to perform in a live house, Namba Grand Kagetsu, which is known to be the Budokan in the comedian world. There, they meet different comedy duo, who share the same dreams to become the greatest comedians among all!
▍Staff and Production
“High School Fleet” director Yuu Nobuta (信田ユウ) is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Mugendai∞ (むげんだい∞) is credited with the original work, and “Lucky Star” manga author Kagami Yoshimizu (美水かがみ) is credited with the original illustrations.
Touko Machida (待田堂子) is in charge of series composition, and she is writing the scripts with Shōta Gotō (梧桐翔大) and Joe Itou (ジョー伊藤). Katsuzo Hirata (平田雄三) is designing the characters for the anime.
