Bushiroad DJ-themed multimedia project “D4DJ” was confirmed to inspire an anime adaptation by SANZIGEN during the special live stream “#D4DJ_StayHome” on 26th April 2020. The cast of the new unit “Lyrical Lily” was also revealed.
▍TV Anime “D4DJ First Mix”
The anime adaptation titled “D4DJ First Mix” will be animated by SANZIGEN, the animation studio that produced the “BanG Dream!” anime series. “Fullmetal Alchemist” director Seiji Mizushima (水島精二) will direct the anime.
▍New Unit “Lyrical Lily”
The cast of the new unit “Lyrical Lily” is also revealed. The unit will feature music produced by “BanG Dream!” manga and “D4DJ” original story writer Kô Nakamura (中村航).

The unit original song “The Stained Colors of Sadness” (汚れっちまった悲しみの色) will be included in “D4DJ” 2nd Album “Cosmic CoaSTAR”.
▍Updates for “D4DJ Groovy Mix D4U Edition”
“D4DJ Groovy Mix D4U Edition”, the trial version of the franchise’s first smartphone rhythm game “D4DJ Groovy Mix” will update a BGM and Assist Mode, which assists new players to get familiar with the game. The original game, “D4DJ Groovy Mix”,

is expected to release this fall.
Four new playable songs will be added to the trial version, including Korobeïniki, Inscrutable Battle, the theme song of “Tetsuko’s Room”, and theme song of “Battles Without Honor and Humanity”.
▍New Manga for “Photon Maiden”
A manga series is confirmed for the unit “Photon Maiden” and will be serialized in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket. Details will be revealed later. “Photon Maiden” will also stream a 3D MV following the unit “Happy Around!”.
